Our availability

Our calendar shows the dates that our Zip Wire Safari sessions are currently running on (click on the date you want in order to book). Zip Wire Safari - minimum age 10

Zip Wire Safari @ £25/person

Seeking an epic zip wire adventure? Join us on our exhilarating zip wire experience suitable for adventurers aged 10 and over! Before taking flight over our historic quarry on 3 exhilarating zip wires, we'll first teach you the skills to safely use a zip wire in our mini zip training area. When you and your instructor are happy they'll first guide you round our epic zip wire route, before you zip round! Even the journey from one zip wire to the next will be exciting - you'll be making your way along the edge of our granite cliffs! Don't worry, you'll be harnessed to our safety system all the way round, so you can safely enjoy the stunning views as you go round!

There's no better way to enjoy a good dose of adrenaline and make amazing memories with friends and family, all whilst building confidence with every ride!

Duration approximately 1.5 hrs**

PARENTAL SUPPORT: Ages 10 - 14 Parental support is essential. A responsible adult must accompany the young person(s) around the Zip Wires as a full paying participant. Required ratio: 1 adult to 2 children. Failure to supply a suitable adult will result in the young person(s) not being able to participate in the tour.

Ages 14 and over In this zone a responsible adult will not have to pay but must remain within the quarry viewing point or Cafe area at all times. This is a fantastic place to watch or treat yourself to goodies from The Cornish Barista!

Medical Conditions:

Participants should only book themselves or other people onto the zip wire tour if they’re happy that they are physically fit and medically abled to undertake the activities. The activity will be physical, including traversing along the cliff edge at height (whilst being clipped into our safety system!) in between zip wire rides. Because of this, the following medical conditions may restrict your ability to participate. Therefore, please follow the guidance below:

If you have:

Severe asthma, frequent/severe epilepsy, a back injury or heart condition, you’ll only be able to participate pending a discussion with our Booking Team. We require you to specify full details on the medical form when you book, as well as consulting both a doctor and the VFC Booking Team.
Mild/infrequent epilepsy, you’ll be able to participate, however we require you to specify full details on the medical form when booking, as well as consulting a doctor.
Asthma (mild-moderate), you’ll be able to participate, however we require you to specify full details on the medical form when booking.

We're launched by BF Adventure, a charity supporting local disadvantaged children and young people. All profits support this work, so by pushing yourself, you'll also be helping others to conquer their own challenges.

**Session timings include kitting up participants PPE and de-kitting at the end.

* Please only visit us if you are symptom free according to the most current government advice* Please do not come if anyone in your household is displaying any symptoms* If we suspect you are displaying symptoms, we will isolate and politely ask you to leave as soon as possible.* If you miss out on the whole or part of your day due to any issues related to Covid19, we will issue a voucher that can be redeemed at another time in 2024.
